Collaborating for the greater good of California

Cap-and-Trade Guidance

When it comes to Cap-and-Trade guidance, we can confidently say that there is no team better qualified to help than Clean Tech Advocates. Linda S. Adams, former Secretary of the CalEPA who served as Governor Schwarzenegger’s lead negotiator on AB32, is one of our principals. Others on our team have worked closely with the California Air Resources Board and the State legislature. Together we can help you gain a full understanding of AB32 impacts on your organization as well as the visibility and access you need to benefit from the funding that will eventually flow from this program.

We can also say with confidence—and with a sense of great urgency— that the time to get involved is NOW. Cap-and-Trade auctions are raising millions of dollars, and we want to help technology innovators get in line for the technology funding that was designated by AB1532 and will eventually flow from the 3-year plan associated with the program.

Did you know that if the Cap-and-Trade proceeds are not spent on technology innovations within 3 years, the funds will revert to the State General fund? We don’t want to see that happen. That’s why we need you as a technology innovator, co-collaborator and investor to get involved.
